Wood dried in a kiln for 46 hours at 255°F, bringing moisture to ~10–15%. It lights faster, burns hotter and cleaner, and the heat kills bugs and disease inside the wood.
For occasional backyard fires, an EZ Stack or a face cord is plenty. Regular burners usually go with a full cord; if you heat with wood all winter, a one-to-two cord load. Not sure? Call and we’ll help you figure it out.
We cover the Quad Cities and about 45 miles out from Camanche. Tell us your town and we’ll confirm — if you’re close, we’ll usually make it work.
Most deliveries go out within 1–2 days, and same-day is often possible. During the busy cold season, allow 2–4 days.
